A Poem for Bats Castle – Dunster Poetry Pin
Dunster Poetry Pin trail now has over 170 poems dotted across the park, here is one below which is self explanatory. Enjoy.

Past the stir of mud and lichen fingered copse
Past the pimpled lawn hummocks of anthill hopscotch
Past the fading ash trees and dormant primrose grove
Over glistening worm stools and ponies all grass at nose
Past briar thickets threaded with wrens
Past the crater dip and then further again
To sit on the fallen fir, woodpecker taxed and bright sun bleached
Views stretch down over village and bay and beach
To the far away hills over the Severn sea
And considering those wanderers looking back at me
